Ingredients
- 1/2 lb. ground beef, browned, drained, and patted dry with paper toweling
- 1 beef bouillon cube, crushed
- 5 tsp. salt-free beef bouillon powder
- 16-oz. can stewed tomatoes
- 1 large onion, diced
- 3/4 cup sliced celery
- 1 medium carrot, diced
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 bay leaf
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 1-2 cups water, depending upon how much liquid you like soup to have
- 10-oz pkg. frozen peas
- 3 Tbsp. chopped parsley
Preparation
Step 1
1. Combine all ingredients except peas and parsley in slow cooker.
2. Cover. Cook on Low 5 hours.
3. Stir in peas during last hour.
4. Garnish with parsley before serving.
