HALLOWEEN POKE CAKE

Ingredients
- Cake:
- 1 fudge marble cake mix
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup oil
- 4 eggs
- 2 packages (3 ounces each) orange jello
- 1 cup boiling water
- 1/2 cup cold water
- Frosting:
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 3 1/2 cups powdered sugar
- 1/3 cup baking cocoa
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 12-15 candy pumpkins

Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Prepare cake using the mix, water, oil, and eggs. Reserve 1/4 of the batter and add the chocolate packet. Spread the yellow batter in a greased and floured 9 x 13" pan. Drop spoonfuls of the chocolate on top & swirl to make a marble effect. Bake for 40 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool for 1 hour. Dissolve gelatin in boiling water; stir in cold water. Poke holes with a meat fork in cake about 2" apart. Slowly pour gelatin over cake. Refrigerate for 2-3 hours.
Cream butter until fluffy. Beat in powdered sugar, cocoa, milk, and vanilla until smooth. Spread over cake; top with candy pumpkins. Cover and refrigerate.
