Ingredients
- 1 pound of liver
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup of water
- 4 cups of flour - rice or whole wheat(if no allergies)
- 2 tablespoons of garlic power [NO GARLIC SALT] (or what you think is the equivalent in garlic cloves)
- 1/2 cup of wheat germ
Preparation
Step 1
From previously prepared meals, save the water from cooking the vegetables. This is done to give the dog the vitamins that will have been transferred into the water from cooking the vegetables.
In a blender, mix the ingredients.
Add the wheat germ at the end of the blending process and mix gently.
Spread onto cooking pans to a height of approximately two inches (approximately 5 centimetres).
Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 45 minutes, depending on your altitude from sea level.
It should be firm to your touch, as an indication that the treat has finished baking.
Allow to cool.
Then the finished product can be cut to size for your dog and stored in air-tight plastic bags in the freezer.
Note: An easy way to cut treats is by using a pizza cutter.
