  • 1 (18 oz.) yellow cake mix
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 cup butter or margarine
  • 8 oz. cream cheese
  • 1 lb. powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 cup chopped pecans



Step 1

Combine cake mix, one egg & butter. Spread batter in greased 9x13 pan. Beat cream cheese til fluffy. Add remaining eggs and vanilla. Beat in the powdered sugar. Pour on top of cake mix. Bake 15 minutes at 350 degrees. Top with chopped nuts and bake 15 minutes more, until set and golden brown. Sprinkle with powdered sugar if desired and cut into squares.
