Whole-wheat & Olive oil Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients
- 1/3 cup butter, at room temperature
- 1/2 cup mild olive or canola oil
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 11/4 cup whole-wheat flour
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1-2 cups chocolate chips

Step 1
Preheat oven to 350F. In a large bowl, beat the butter, oil and sugars until pale and fluffy. Add the eggs and vanilla and beat again. Add the flour, baking soda and salt and beat until almost combined; add the chocolate chips and stir until just blended. Drop spoonfuls of dough and inch or two apart on a greased baking sheet. Bake for 12-14 minutes, until golden around the edges but still soft in the middle. Transfer to a wire rack to cool.
