Ingredients
- Coconut Eggs:
- 1 1/2 cup confectioners sugar
- 4 tablespoons sweetened condensed milk
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 3 tablespoons coconut
- Peanut Butter Eggs:
- 1 1/4 cup confectioners sugar
- 1/4 cup sweetened condensed milk
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1/4 cup peanut butter
- Fruit and Nut Eggs:
- 1 1/4 cups confectioners sugar
- 1/4 cup sweetened condensed milk
- 1 tablespoon soft butter
- chopped nuts and candied fruits
- Dipping:
- 2 small or 1 large package chocolate chips, 1/8 block paraffin wax (I use considerably less)
Preparation
Step 1
Mix all ingredients in a bowl for the flavor egg chosen. Shape into small eggs. Place on a waxed paper covered cookie sheet.
Let "dry" over night, UNCOVERED.
The next day, melt the chocolate chips and the was in a double boiler over low hear until smooth. Dip each egg quickly into the chocolate. Place back on the cookie sheet until chocolate is hard, an hour or more.
Decorate eggs to your liking using cake decorating frosting, store bought in ready-to-use tubes, or make your own.
Store at room temperature in a sealed container.
