Artichoke Gratinata

Ingredients

  • 3 TB. olive oil
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 lb. artichoke hearts
  • 2 TB. chopped parsley
  • 3/4 ts. salt
  • 1/4 ts. pepper
  • 1/8 ts. red pepper
  • 1/2 C. chicken stock
  • 1/4 C. marsala wine
  • 2 TB. butter
  • 1/3 C. bread crumbs
  • 1/3 C. grate parmesan cheese

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 400

Warm the olive oil in skillet on med. heat. Add the garlic aand cook for 1 min. Add the artichoke hearts, parslye, salt, pepper and red pepper flakes cook until brown on edges, 3 min. Add the chicken broth and wine simmer for 3 min. Transfer to a baking dish.

Melt the butter in same skillet, mix melted butter with bread crumbs in a dish. Stir in parmesan and top the artichokes with bread crumbs bake for 10 min.
