Pumpkin Spice Cookies

Ingredients
- 1 pkg. 8 oz cream cheese
- 1-1/2 C. brown sugar
- 1/2 C. sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 C. canned pumpkin
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 3-1/2 C flour
- 1 tsp. pumpkin pie spice
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- FROSTING
- 2 C. confectioners sugar
- 1/2 C. melted butter
- 1 tsp vanilla extract.
- 2-3 TB boiling water
- 2 C. chopped pecans

Step 1
In a large bowl beat cream cheese and sugars until smooth. Add eggs, one at a time beating well after each one. Beat in pumpkin and vanilla. Combine dry ingredients; gradually add to pumpkin and mix well.
Drop by rounded teaspoon full 2" apart onto ungreased baking sheets. Bake at 350 for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown
For frosting combine confectioners sugar, butter and vanilla and enough water to achieve constiency of frosting. Frost cookies and sprinkle with pecans.
