Ingredients

    pkg. 8 oz cream cheese

  • 1-½

    C. brown sugar

  • ½

    C. sugar

  • 2

    eggs

  • 1

    C. canned pumpkin

  • 1

    tsp. vanilla

  • 3-½

    C flour

  • 1

    tsp. pumpkin pie spice

  • 1

    tsp. baking soda

  • 1

    tsp. salt

  • ½

    tsp. baking powder

  • FROSTING

  • 2

    C. confectioners sugar

  • ½

    C. melted butter

  • 1

    tsp vanilla extract.

  • 2-3

    TB boiling water

  • 2

    C. chopped pecans

Directions

In a large bowl beat cream cheese and sugars until smooth. Add eggs, one at a time beating well after each one. Beat in pumpkin and vanilla. Combine dry ingredients; gradually add to pumpkin and mix well. Drop by rounded teaspoon full 2" apart onto ungreased baking sheets. Bake at 350 for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown For frosting combine confectioners sugar, butter and vanilla and enough water to achieve constiency of frosting. Frost cookies and sprinkle with pecans.
