CROWD BARBECUE SAUCE

Great on beef ribs.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 Cups vinegar
  • 1 1/8 Cups sugar
  • 1 quart tomato sauce
  • 3 Tbs salt
  • 3 Tbs dry mustard
  • 3/4 Tbs red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 Cup water
  • 1/2 Cup ground onion
  • 1/4 Cup ground celery
  • 1 1/8 tsp ground cloves
  • 1 Tbs chili powder
  • 6 Tbs Worcestershire Sauce

Preparation

Step 1

In a large pot combine all ingredients on the edge of grill or on stove top. Cook over low heat for 30 - 35 minutes until vegetables are tender. Yields 1 1/2 to 1 3/4 quarts.

Cool marinade and pour over beef ribs , marinate over night.
