Michael LOVES spicy food. We have to have a gigantic bottle of Frank’s Hot Sauce in our house at all times. He puts it on everything! There is usually enough on his plate that it can make my eyes water from across the table. I, however, am not a spicy person. It is literally painful for me to eat something spicy.

Then we visited a local wing place, (Michael is obsessed with wings) where they let you choose the flavor and the heat. Michael’s buffalo wings at other restaurants always smelled so good, but after the first try and my lips burning off, I decided I would just enjoy the smells from there on out. This particular restaurant let me choose the buffalo flavor and mild heat though! It was so yummy that I knew we had to figure out a way to do this at home.

He wanted to make them, so I was definitely for that. He adapted our normal

Place your wings in your crock pot.

Microwave hot sauce and butter and stir. Once your butter is melted completely, you will have a nice thick sauce.

Stir one cup of beer into sauce.

Pour sauce over wings.

Melt 1/4 of a cup of butter into 1/4 of a cup of Frank’s and stir.

Place wings in broiler for 4-5 minutes. This was only my second time ever using a broiler. So I checked them at the end of every minute to make sure they were crisping up, but not burning.
