Ingredients
- 1 quart small, new leaves of butter lettuce
- 1 small bunch baby radishes, thinly sliced
- 2-inch length of cucumber, slice paper-thin
- 1 sweet onion, thinly sliced
- 1/4 pound crumbled Danish blue cheese
- pinch of salt
- pinch of pepper
- pinch or dry mustard
- pinch of sugar
- 2 tablespoons white vinegar
- 4 tablespoons vegetable oil
Preparation
Step 1
Wash and dry the lettuce and form the leaves into a bowl. Add the radishes, cucumber and onion. Sprinkle with the blue cheese.
In a small bowl, mix together the salt, pepper, mustard, sugar and vinegar. Whisk in the vegetable oil.
Just before serving, stir the dressing and pour over the lettuce bowls.
