  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/3 cups sugar
  • 4 tsp bak powder
  • 1 tsp bak soda
  • 1 1/2 tsp allspice
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp ground cloves
  • 1 can cond tomato soup
  • 1/2 cup shortening
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 cup raisins (optional)
  • 6 oz cream cheese
  • 1 tbsp milk
  • 1 lb box confectioner's sugar
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350. Grease and flour 2 8" round cake pans. In lg bowl, combine all ing but raisins with mixer on low speed, beat until well mixed 4 min at high speed, add raisins, pour into pans. Bake 35-40 min. Cool, remove from pans, cool completely, then frost with cream cheese frosting...
Frosting - Blend cream cheese with 1 tbsp milk, gradually add sifted sugar, mix in vanilla...
