Turkey Brine - Brent

  • 2 Gallons Cold Water
  • 3/4 C. Kosher Salt, rinsed
  • 2 C. Brown Sugar
  • 3 C. Apple Cider
  • 2 T. Allspice
  • 2 T. Peppercorn
  • Fresh Rosemary, Thyme, Bay Leaf
  • Whole Head of Garlic
  • 3 Large Oranges, quartered

Step 1

Combine all in a stock pot, bring to a boil, then chill.

To Brine: Add turkey and ice for 12-24 hours.
