Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter or margarine, soft
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2-1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 3/4 cup chopped nuts

Preparation

Step 1

Heat oven to 400.
Mix margarine and powdered sugar and vanilla. Mix in flour, salt and nuts until dough holds together.
Shape dough into one inch balls.
Place balls one inch apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake until set but not brown (10-12 mins.)
Roll in powdered sugar while warm. Allow them to cool then roll them a second time in powdered sugar.
