Brian's 3 Mustard Slather - BBQ

Slather - to spread on or cover thickly; to lavish. This is an excellent base for BBQ or smoking for any cut of pork, chicken and beef. It also makes a great slather for BBQ or grilled salmon.

Ingredients
- 20 20 20 oz. yellow mustard
- 12 12 12 oz. Gulden Spicy Brown mustard
- 10 10 10 oz. Dijon mustard
- 1/2 1/2 1/2 C brown sugar
- 1 1 1 tsp sea salt
- 1 1 5 tsp 5 spice
- 2 2 2 TBS Worcestershire
- 2 2 2 TBS balsamic vinegar
- 2 2 2 TBS lemon juice
- 1/2 1/2 1/2 C brown ale
Preparation
Step 1
Mix it all together very well in a large mixing bowl, pour into large leftover ketchup bottle or other container with a tight lid. Will keep indefinitely if refrigerated.
Spread liberally (slather) on all sides of whatever meat you are using, season with salt and pepper or your favorite rub and BBQ or broil (salmon). see Mustard Salmon recipe
