Glazed pecans

Ingredients

  • 2 Tbs butter
  • 2 Tbs packed dark brown sugar
  • 2 Tbs maple-flavored or real maple syrup
  • 2 C pecan halves (8oz)

Preparation

Step 1

Heat oven to 350*. line sheet with cooking parchment paper.

In a 12" skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add brown sugar and syrup, mix well. Cook until bubbly, stirring constantly. Add pecans; cook 2-3 minutes, stirring constantly until coated. Spread mixture onto cookie sheet.

Bake 6-8 minutes or until golden brown. Cool completely, about 30 minutes. Store tightly covered at room temperature up to 2 weeks.
