Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 teaspoons water
  • 2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 cups sifted flour
  • 1 cup choped pecans

Preparation

Step 1

cream sugar and butter
add water and vanilla
mix well
add flour and pecans
chill 3 to 4 hours
shape in balls or cresent shape
bake on ungreased cookie sheet
for 20 minutes at 325*
cool slightly then roll in powder sugar

makes 5 dozen
