Ingredients

  • 3 cups old-fashioned rolled oats, uncooked
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 cup sesame seeds
  • 1 cup walnuts, chopped
  • 1/2 cup salad oil
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 1 cup mixed nuts
  • 1 cup peanuts
  • 1 cup raisins
  • 1 cup cut-up dried apricots or apples
  • 1 cup carob stars
  • 1 cup flaked coconut
  • 1 cup banana chips

Preparation

Step 1

Heat oats in 9-by-13-inch pan at 350 F for 10 minutes. Remove from oven; add brown sugar, sesame seeds and walnuts. Blend salad oil, honey and vanilla; drizzle over oats mixture. Return to oven and bake for 20 to 25 minutes, stirring occasionally. Cool. Add remaining ingredients; mix well. Store in tightly covered container.
