Five Cheese Crostini

Ingredients

  • Crisco® Olive Oil No-Stick Cooking Spray
  • OR Crisco® Butter No-Stick Cooking Spray
  • 1 (12 oz.) French baguette loaf, cut into 1/4-inch slices
  • 2 (8 oz.) pkgs. finely shredded five-cheese blend
  • 2 tablespoons Italian seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons garlic powder

Preparation

Step 1


1. HEAT oven to 375° F.

2. SPRAY both sides of bread slices generously with no-stick cooking spray. Divide evenly into two batches. Place one batch of bread onto baking sheet. Bake 7 minutes or until crisp, and bottom of bread begins to turn golden brown.

3. COMBINE cheese, Italian seasoning and garlic powder in a small bowl. Mound 1 heaping tablespoon cheese mixture on each of the toasted bread slices (crostini). Bake 5 to 7 minutes or until cheese is bubbly and begins to brown. Allow crostini to cool slightly before serving. Repeat with remaining batch.
