Cream Cheese Chocolate Chip Pastry Cookies

    pkg (17oz) frozen puff pastry, thawed

  • 1

    pkg (8oz) Cream cheese, softened

  • 3

    tbsp sugar

  • cup chocolate chips, divided


Roll 1 sheet puff pastry to 14x10 rectangle on floured surface. Combine cream cheese and sugar in small bowl. Spread half of cream cheese mixture over puff pastry, leaving 1in border on 1 long side. Sprinkle with half chips. Roll up, starting at long side covered with cream cheese. Seal edge by dampening with water. Repeat with remaining ingredients. Refrigerate 1 hour. Cutt rolls crosswise into 1in thick slices. Place cut side up on parchement paper or lightly greased cookie sheets. Bake in preheated o375 oven for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown. Let stand 2 minutes then moves to wire rack.
