Frozen Souffle with Hot Strawberry Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 qt. vanilla Ice Cream
  • 24 macaroons, crumbled
  • 4 T. orange juice or Grand Marnier
  • 1 c. whipping cream
  • 4 t. powdered sugar
  • 4 T. toasted almonds

Preparation

Step 1

Soften ice cream slightly; stir in crumbled macaroons and orange juice or grand marnier. Fold in whipped cream. Spoon into 6 cup mold or metal dish. Sprinkle surface with powdered sugar and almonds. Cover with plastic wrap. Freeze until firm, 4-5 hours, preferable overnight. Loosen edges and wrap with warm towel 4-5 seconds. Turn out on chilled platter and serve with Hot Strawberry Sauce.
