Ingredients
- 1 pound pared potatoes, cut into pieces
- 1 cup canned pumpkin
- 1 tbsp plus 1 tsp margarine
- 1/4 tsp pumpkin pie spice
- 1/4 tsp salt

Step 1
In saucepan boil potatoes in salted water to cover until soft. Drain well and transfer to a bowl. Preheat oven to 350 F. Mash potatoes until smooth. Add pumpkin, margarine, pumpkin pie spice, and salt; beat to combine. Fill a pastry bag, fitted with a pastry tube, with potato-pumpkin mixture.
Makes about 8 puffs, each about 2 inches wide, on a baking sheet that has been sprayed with nonstick cooking spray. Bake puffs 15 to 20 minutes or until lightly browned.
