Extraordinary Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients

• 3 cups butter or margarine softened
• 2 1/2 cups sugar
• 2 1/2 cups brown sugar
• 2 Tablespoons vanilla
• 4 eggs
• 8 cups flour
• 4 teaspoons baking soda
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 2 bag (24 oz) chocolate chips (8 Cups )

Preparation

Step 1

Heat oven to 350
In large bowl, beat butter, sugars, vanilla and eggs on medium speed or with spoon until light and fluffy. Stir in flour, baking soda and salt (dough will be stiff) Stir in Chocolate chips.
On ungreased cookie sheet, drop dough by tablespoon ice cream scoop 2 inches apart. Flatten slightly. Bake 11 to 13 minutes or until light brown (soft in center) Cool on cookie sheet 2 minutes, remove to cooling rack
