Favorite Butter Cookies

Ingredients

• 2 1/2 cups flour
• 1 cup sugar
• 1 cup soft butter
• 1 egg
• 1 tsp baking powder
• 2 tbsp orange juice
• 1 tbsp vanilla

Preparation

Step 1

Sift together the flour and the baking powder. Cream butter and sugar together. Mix in egg. Add Vanilla and orange juice. Add the flour mixture to the butter mixture.

Let dough chill for at least an hour. Roll out 1/4 inch thick. Place cookies on ungreased cookie sheet and bake for 6-10 minutes at 400 degrees F.
