  • 2 1/4 cups sugar
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup + 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 12 cups blueberries
  • 3 tablespoons butter or margarine
  • 3 tablespoons lemon juice



Step 1

Combine sugar, cornstarch and salt in a saucepan. Add water and all the blueberries, cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until mixturecomes to a boil and is thickened. Mixture should be clear and very thick Remove from heatand stir in butter and lemon juice. Cool. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes
