Ingredients

  • 1/4

    cup butter, softened

  • 2

    cloves garlic, minced

  • 2

    tsp. snipped fresh Italian flat leaf parsley

  • 1- 1

    lb Itralian bread

  • 1-1 1/2

    cups shredded Italian blend cheeses

Directions

Combine butter, garlic, and parsley. Slice bread into 3/4 inch slices, witrhout cutting through bottom crust, so slices stay attached. Spead slices with butter mixture, about 1 tsp per slice. Sprinkle with cheese. Wrap in foil. Can be refrigerated at thisn point for up to 24 hours. Bake bread in foil in a 375 oven for 15 minutes or until butter is melted and bread is hot. Remove from oven and open foil at the top. Place back in oven and bake 5 minutes more or until cheese melts.
