- 1 Jar meat-flavored pasta sauce
- 4 cloves garlic, finely chopped
- 1 lb ground beef
- onion powder
- salt and pepper
- garlic powder
- Italian seasoning
- Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 2 tsp sugar
Brown ground beef in about 1 Tbsp of oil. Sprinkle with garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, salt and freshly cracked black pepper. Use a potato masher or wooden spoon to break up the meat so you don't have any large chunks.
Add garlic to meat, cook 3-5 minutes. Add 1/3 jar of water and pasta sauce. Season with salt, pepper, and basil to taste. Add sugar. Let cook for ½ hour, stirring occasionally so sauce does not burn. Taste again for seasoning.
