  • Cake:
  • 1 pkg. yellow cake mix
  • 1 pkg. instant vanilla pudding
  • 5 eggs
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 1/2 cup rum
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup walnuts, chopped
  • Rum Glaze:
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 2 oz. water
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup rum

Step 1

Mix cake mix, pudding mix, eggs, oil, rum and water. Add nuts, mix well. Grease and flour bundt pan. Pour batter into pan. Bake for 1 hour. Cool.

Glaze: Melt butter, water, and sugar. Boil 2 minutes. Add rum.

Punch holds in cake with ice pick. Pour 1/2 of glaze over cake. Take cake out of pan. Make more holes in cake and pour rest of glaze over cake.
