Buns

Ingredients

  • 2 cups warm water
  • 1 package yeast
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 6 1/2 cups flour
  • 1/3 cup melted shortening
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp salt

Preparation

Step 1

Dissolve yeast in warm water; add sugar. Add 2 cups flour, beat well. Add shortening, eggs and remaining flour. Let rest in bowl 20 mins, then shape; put on greased pans. Let rise in 1 hour. Bake 15-18 mins at 350. Makes 24.
