Mayhaw Jelly

Ingredients

  • 3 lbs mayhaws
  • 4 cups water
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 7 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1/2 bottle liquid pectin

Preparation

Step 1

Wash and crush fruit; add water. Bring to a boil and simmer for 10 minutes. Extract juice. Measure out 4 cups. Add lemon juice and sugar. Follow standard procedure for making jelly with liquid pectin.
