Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup flour
  • 1/2 tsp oregano
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 pound chicken breasts, boned, skinned and halved
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup white wine
  • 1/4 cup unsalted chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 lemon, sliced
  • parsley to garnish

Preparation

Step 1

Combine flour, oregano, salt and pepper. Dredge chicken through flour combination. Spray a large skillet with cooking spray for about 3 seconds. Saute garlic. Add chicken and brown on both sides. Add wine, chicken broth and water. Cook over medium heat until chicken is done, about 15 minutes. Add lemon slices during last 5 minutes of cooking.
Garnish with parsley.

Serve with stir fried vegetables
