Crock Pot Kahlua Pork
By Heather_D
This is the original Kahlua Pork recipe - just "tweeked" for the Crock Pot. We made this version of the Kahlua Pork recipe when we lived in California due to such high electricity prices. The Crock Pot used less electricity than our oven.

Ingredients
- 4 - 6 lbs. Boneless Boston Butt OR Pork Shoulder
- 5 tsp Hawaiian Rock Salt
- 6 tsp Liquid Smoke
Preparation
Step 1
Cut the pork into equal portions (about 4 pieces) in order to fit all of the meat in the Crock Pot. Score both sides of the pork shoulder or pork butt. Lay the pieces, one at a time, into the Crock Pot and rub the Liquid Smoke and rock salt into the top (fat) side of the pork. Cook the pork on HIGH for 8 - 10 hours.
Using a fork, shred the pork and mix the meat and the juices together thoroughly to flavor all the pork. Serve over rice.
