Raisan Filled Cereal Bars
- 1/2 c. granulated sugar
- 2 c. raisins
- 2 T. cornstarch
- 1 c. water
- 3/4 c. butter (softened)
- 2 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 c. granola cereal
- 1/2 c. packed brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
Mix filling and cook until thick. Remove from heat and add 2 T. lemon juice. Allow to cool.
Cream butter and sugar. Stir together flour and soda. Add to creamed mixture with granola; mix well (mixture will be crumbly).
Pat half into a greased and floured 13 x 9 x 2 baking pan. Spread with filling.
Add 1 tablespoon water to remaining crumb mixture. Sprinkle atop filling. Lightly press with hand.
Bake @ 350 F for 30-35 minutes-cut into bars while warm.
