Ingredients

  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 3/4 cups shortening
  • 3 T white sugar
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup cold water

Preparation

Step 1

In a large bowl, combine flour, shortening, sugar and salt. Blend until crumbly.
Shake the egg and water and add to flour mixture. Blend to make 4 balls. Chill in frig until use. Keeps well wrapped tightly in saran wrap for 1 week.
