Ingredients

  • 1 head of lettuce, chopped
  • 1/2 c. chopped celery
  • 1 bunch of green onions, chopped
  • 1 10oz. bag of frozen peas
  • 2 c. mayonnaise, not Miracle Whip
  • 2 T. sugar
  • 4 oz. cheddar cheese, grated, 1 c. appr.
  • 8 slices crispy cooked bacon, crumbled

Preparation

Step 1

Cook bacon, cool, crumble, and set aside.
Put mayonnaise and sugar in a bowl and blend together. It makes a layer after the peas.
Put each layer of veggies in a large bowl as they are listed. Then, spread mayonnaise and sugar mixture on top of peas. Sprinkle cheese on top of mayonnaise mixture and sprinkle crumbled bacon on top of cheese.
Let stand overnight or for 24 hours.
Toss and serve.
Be creative and substitute other veggies or add more veggies
