Ingredients
- 16 oz linguine
- 12 oz Italian sausage
- 4 slices bacon, diced
- 1 1/4 cup chicken broth
- 2 TBLS. butter or margarine
- 2 TBLS. honey
- crushed red pepper, to taste
- salt, to taste
- black pepper, to taste
- 1/2 lemon, zested and juiced
- 2 cups heavy whipping cream
- 6 cups baby spinach
- 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
- parmesan cheese, to taste

Preparation
Step 1
Cook linguine according to package directions.
In large sauté pan, render sausage and bacon. Remove bacon and sausage leaving drippings in pan.
Stir in chicken broth, butter and honey. Season to taste with crushed red pepper. Continue cooking until liquid is reduced by about half.
Stir in lemon juice and zest. Stir in heavy cream and simmer until it coats the back of a spoon. Add baby spinach and cook until wilted.
Stir in diced tomatoes.
Toss bacon, sausage and linguine in sauce until thick and it sticks to the noodles.
Top with parmesan cheese.
