Crockpot Cheese Tortellini and Sausage

Ingredients

  • 1 pound Spicy Breakfast Sausage
  • 1 (19 oz.) bag frozen cheese tortellini
  • 1 whole Medium Red Onion, diced
  • 2 slices Bacon, chopped
  • 3 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 quart Warm Water
  • 3 cubes low sodium Chicken Bouillon Cubes
  • 1/4 bunch Kale, roughly chopped (or spinach)
  • 1/2 cup fat free half & half or Heavy Cream
  • Salt & Pepper to taste

Preparation

Step 1

1.Brown the sausage in a skillet on the stove top until cooked and crumbled. Drain.

2.Add the sausage and remaining ingredients to a 6-quart slow cooker. Stir to combine. Cook, on LOW for 5 hours, stirring twice during cooking.
