Creamy Pine Nut Pasta Sauce

  • 2 tbs butter
  • 3 tbs olive oil
  • 3 lg garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • 4 tbs flour
  • 2 c. milk
  • 2 tbs sour cream
  • 2 tbs white wine
  • 2-3 tbs pine nuts


Servings 4


Step 1

In a medium sauce pan melt butter, add oil. Sauté garlic and basil. Add the flour and cook 2 minutes. Whisk in milk and sour cream. Add wine and simmer until creamy texture is reached. Don’t overdo it. Add salt and pepper to taste. Stir in pine nuts until warmed. Serve over noodles.
