Ingredients

  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 stick margarine, melted
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 cup Cool Whip
  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 (3 ounces each) packages strawberry jello
  • 2 cups boiling water
  • 1 (16 ounce) package frozen strawberries, do not thaw

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine flour, margarine, pecans, and 2 tablespoons sugar. Pat mixture into a 9" square pan. Bake for 10 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool. Beat cream cheese. Add Cool Whip and powdered sugar. Spread over cooled crust. Combine boiling water with jello. Add frozen strawberries. Spoon over cream cheese mixture. Refrigerate. Garnish with Cool Whip.
