Preparation
Step 1
My husband loved these. He said they were like a snicker doodle, only more buttery. I think he was tasting the french vanilla. I had no problem with the dough. Definitely not sticky (not sure how it could be when the only liquid in the dough is two egg yolks).
These are delicious, but I found dough very very sticky to work with. A lot of work, so Im not sure I will make these again!
i wanted to know, when you place the dough balls on the ungreased baking sheet, will it spread/flatten on it's own? or do we have to do it before it bakes?
Yes, they can flatten on their own. Although, if you use the pecans, that will also flatten it. (I made one pan with pecans and the other without.)
I found these much too sweet
Our ladies group made these last night!! They were so light and buttery you could almost snack them up like potatoe chips. I will definetly add these to my holiday giving collection.
I really liked these cookies. I made these for my husband to take into work for national cookie month. I thought they were pretty good. I have to be honest the guys didn't enjoy them as much as they did the chocolate chip cookies. I will definitly make these again though.
