Penne A La Vodka

  • 1 onion
  • 1 can crushed tomatoes
  • 2/3 cups vodka
  • 1 1/2 tsp of basil
  • 2 tbls sugar
  • salt & pepper
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream



Step 1

Saute onion and garlic in olive oil until softened. Add crushed tomatoes, vodka, basil, sugar, salt & pepper. Cook over medium - low heat for 45 minutes. When done, add heavy cream and mix well. Add pasta and enjoy.
Any meat or fish you wish to add may be added towards the end of the sauce cooking.
