Outside-in-Fudge Cake

Got this recipe from my grandmothers house (Bessie Elkins)

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 6 eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups butter
  • 2 cups regular flour
  • 12 oz double fudge butter cream recipe frosting mix
  • 2 cups pecans

Preparation

Step 1

preheat oven to 350, grease bundt pan.
Cream butter in large bowl, add eggs one at a time, beating well after each. Gradually add sugar, continue mixing until light and fluffy. Stir in flour & frosting. Mix & add pecans.
Pour butter into greased pan, bake 65-70 minutes.
Cool 1 hour, remove from pan & cool another hour before cutting.
