Ingredients
- Chicken
- 1 stick butter
- 6 or 8 pieces of boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 large oinions, diced
- 15 oz. can tomato sauce
- 15 oz. can water
- 1 teaspoon garlic salt, black pepper and paprika
- 1/4 to 1/2 cup red cooking wine
- Rice
- 1 stick butter
- 1 cup rice
- 1 large handful vermicelli-spaghetti
- 2 cups water.

Step 1
Chicken
Melt butter in pan; braise chicken in butter. Remove chicken and cook onions in the butter. Pour butter and onions over chicken. Mix tomato sauce, water, garlic salt, pepper, paprika and wine; pour over chicken and bake at 400 degrees F uncovered for 1 hour.
Rice
Melt butter in a 4-quart pan. Break spaghetti into short pieces. Cook in the butter until almost burned. Add rice and water. Cook until tender. You may need to add a small amount of water.
Wine sauce: Remove chicken from sauce and add 2 to 3 tablespoons cornstarch that has been mixed with water until liquid. Add to wine sauce and stir. Serve as gravy over rice.
