Ingredients

  • 1 Stick butter (cold)
  • 1/3 cup light brown sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. Kosher salt
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp. orange flower water, optional
  • 3/4 cup and 2 Tbs. all purpose flour
  • 3 Tbs. cornstarch
  • 1 Tbs. Lavender (finely minced)

Preparation

Step 1

Combine all ingredients and roll into a log, cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 1 hour.

Cut into 1/4 inch slices and bake on parchment paper until lightly golden.



**If you add salt to the top of cookies only use a scant (not 1/4 tsp.) to recipe.
