Oatmeal Scotchies

Ingredients

  • 1 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 c butter (softened)
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 3/4 c packed brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 3 c. oats (uncooked)morsels
  • 2 c. butterscotch

Preparation

Step 1

In small bowl. combine flour, soda, salt, and cinnamon. Set aside. In large bowl, combine butter, sugars, eggs and vanilla. Beat until creamy. Gradually add flour mixture. Stir in oats and morsels. Drop on ungreased cookie sheet.

Bake at 375 degrees for 9-10 minutes (crisp cookie)
Bake at 375 degrees for 7-8 minutes (chewy cookie)
