Creamy Shrimp Noodle Skillet

Ingredients
- 1 pkg. – 16 oz med. Egg noodles
- 2 medium onions, chopped
- 1 med. Green pepper, chopped
- 3 cloves minced garlic
- 3/4 cup butter or margarine
- 1 T flour
- 1 1/2 pound uncooked med. Shrimp, peeled & devained
- 3 cups half and half cream
- 1 jalapeno pepper, seed/chopped
- 2 T minced fresh parsley
- 8 oz. Velveeta cheese, cubed

Step 1
Cook noodles according to package directions – drain and set aside. In large saucepan or Dutch oven, sauté the onions, peppers, celery and garlic in butter until tender. Stir in flour until blended. Gradually stir in cream. Bring to a boil – cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened.
Reduce heat, add shrimp, jalapeno pepper and parsley. Simmer, uncovered to 3 minutes longer or until cheese is melted. Stir in noodles, heat through. Yield: 6-8 servings.
