Turtle Fudge Skillet Cake

Ingredients

  • 1 box devil's food cake mix (and ingredients to make it)
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 4 squares semi-sweet baking chocolate
  • 1 jar caramel ice cream topping
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  • Vanilla ice cream (or Cool Whip)

Preparation

Step 1

Melt butter in Family Skillet. Prepare cake mix and spread in skillet. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.

Loosen edges of cake and invert onto serving plate. Chop chocolate and combine with half of caramel. Microwave for 60 seconds and stir until smooth. Spread on cake.

Chop pecans and sprinkle on cake. Drizzle with remaining caramel. Serve with ice cream or Cool Whip.
