- 5 large apples, peeled, cored and thinly sliced (6 cups)
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup butter, slightly softened
- 1 1/2 t. cinnamon
- 1 1/2 cups old-fashioned rolled oats
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 cup flour
Preheat the oven to 350 and lightly greae a 9x13 inc pan.
Put the apple sliced in the pan and sprinkle with the sugar. Gently toss with your fingers to mix.
Make the topping:
Combine the butter, cinnamon, oats, brown sugar and flour ina medium bowl and mix with your fingertips until the mixture in coarse and crumbly. Spoon evenly over the apples. Bake until golden brown, about 45 minutes.
