Ingredients

  • 3 lg. ripe bananas (or 4 small ones)
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted and cooled
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 1/2 cups sifted flour
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Step 1

Mash banana in large mixing bowl. Blend in sugar, butter and egg. Mix well. Sift together the baking soda, flour, salt & blend with first mixture. Add vanilla. Pour into buttered loaf pan, 81/2" x 4 1/2" and bake at 325 degrees for 50-60 minutes.
